अयुज्रन्त इन्द्र विश्वकृष्टीर्विदानासो निष्षिधो मर्त्यत्रा । मरुतां पृत्सुतिर्हासमाना स्वर्मीळ्हस्य प्रधनस्य सातौ ॥

Transliteration

áyujranta indra viśvákṛṣṭīr vidānā́so niṣṣídho martyatrā́ | marútāṃ pṛtsutír hāsamānā́ svàrmīḷhasya prádhanasya sātáu ||

Translation

Wahai Indra, engkau memasang kuk pada bangsa-bangsa dari segala jenis—mereka yang mengetahui—agar di gelanggang fana ini mereka tidak ditundukkan. Dorongan-perang Marut, tertawa dalam kekuatannya, adalah untuk kemenangan dalam pertembungan, untuk memperoleh swar (cahaya/kelimpahan bercahaya) yang sukar ditawan.
