Steed-rich, cow-rich, hero-rich—O Dawns—let the auspicious ones shine forth for us each day; yielding ghee, well-satisfied from every side. Do ye, with blessings of welfare, protect us evermore.
Kaya kuda, kaya sapi, kaya wira—wahai Fajar-fajar—biarlah yang berbahagia bersinar untuk kami setiap hari; memerah ghee, puas sepenuhnya dari segala arah. Dengan berkat kesejahteraan, lindungilah kami sentiasa.
Rishi: As in the Uṣas prosperity unit of AVŚ 3.16 (anukramaṇī attribution varies).
Devata: Uṣas (Dawns); svasti as functional power
Chandas: Jagatī-like (RV-style dawn stanza adapted in AV)
Primary: shanta
Secondary: adbhuta
