juhū́r dādhāra dyā́m upabhṛ́d antárikṣaṃ dhruvā́ dādhāra pṛthivī́ṃ pratiṣṭhā́m | pratī́mā́n lokā́ ghṛtápṛṣṭhāḥ svargā́ḥ kā́maṃ-kā́maṃ yájamānāya duhrām ||
The Juhū hath upheld the Sky; the Upabhṛt the Mid-air; the Dhruvā hath upheld the Earth as firm foundation. In answer, let these heavenly worlds, ghee-backed, milk forth each wish—wish upon wish—unto the sacrificer.
Rishi: Atharvanic funerary corpus (anukramaṇī-dependent).
Devata: Yajñāyudha (implements) as functional deities; Svargaloka; Ghṛta as sanctifying medium.
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh-family (heading traditions vary).
Primary: shanta
Secondary: adbhuta
