अ॒पा॒वृत्य॒ गार्ह॑पत्यात् क्र॒व्यादा॒ प्रेत॑ दक्षि॒णा। प्रि॒यं पि॒तृभ्य॑ आ॒त्मने॑ ब्र॒ह्मभ्यः॑ कृणुता प्रि॒यम्
apā́vṛtya gā́rhapatyāt kravyā́dāt prá ita dakṣiṇā́ | priyáṃ pitṛ́bhya ātmáne bráhmabhyaḥ kṛṇuta priyám
Having turned away from the Household Fire the flesh-devouring power, go forth to the right: make ye what is dear for the Fathers, dear for oneself, dear for the Brahmans.
