Sukta 9.97
सं त्री पवित्रा विततान्येष्यन्वेकं धावसि पूयमानः । असि भगो असि दात्रस्य दातासि मघवा मघवद्भ्य इन्दो ॥
saṃ trī pavitrā vi-tatāny eṣy anv ekaṃ dhāvasi pūyamānaḥ | asi bhágo asi dātrásya dātāsi maghávā maghávadbhya indo ||
तीन विस्तीर्ण पवित्रां (गाळण्यां) मधून जाऊन, हे सोम, तू शुद्ध होत एकाच मार्गाने वेगाने धावतोस. तू ‘भग’ आहेस—आनंद व वितरणाची शक्ती; तू दानाचा दाता आहेस; हे इन्दु, तू तो समृद्ध बल आहेस जो समृद्धांना देखील समृद्धी देतो.
