Transliteration

vṛṣṭíṃ no arṣa divyā́ṃ jigatnúm iḷā́-vatīṃ śaṃ-gayī́ṃ jīrá-dānum | stukā́-iva vītā́ dhanva vi-cínvan bandhū́n imā́ṃ avárā́n indo vāyū́n ||

Translation

आमच्यासाठी दिव्य वृष्टी—बलाची, ध्येयास झपाट्याने पोहोचणारी—प्रवाहित कर; जी इळा-समृद्ध, मंगलकारी, कल्याणदायिनी व उदार दान देणारी असो. सोडलेल्या बाणासारखा, हे इंदु, विवेकाने संचार करत या अधः प्रवृत्ती व वायू/धारा निवडून गोळा कर आणि त्यांना ऋताच्या योग्य गतीकडे उन्नत कर.
