Sukta 9.86
अयं पुनान उषसो वि रोचयदयं सिन्धुभ्यो अभवदु लोककृत् । अयं त्रिः सप्त दुदुहान आशिरं सोमो हृदे पवते चारु मत्सरः ॥
ayáṃ punāná uṣáso ví rocayad ayáṃ síndhubhyo abhavad u loka-kṛ́t | ayáṃ tríḥ saptá duduhāná āśíraṃ sómo hṛdé pavate cā́ru matsaráḥ ||
हा शुद्ध होत जाणारा सोम उषांना प्रकाशमान करतो; हाच नद्यांसाठी ‘लोककृत्’—लोक-व्यवस्थेचा कर्ता होतो. हाच तीन वेळा सात (एकवीस) वेळा ‘आशिर’ (मिश्रित रस) दुहून—सोम हृदयात पवित्र होत वाहतो; आनंद-मत्सरात रम्य।
