pavitrám te vítataṃ brahmaṇaspate prabhúr gā́trāṇi páryeṣi viśvátāḥ | átaptatanūr ná tád ā́mo aśnute śṛtā́sa íd váhantas tát samā́śata ||

Translation

हे ब्रह्मणस्पते (वाणी/ब्रह्माचा स्वामी), तुझे पवित्र (गाळणी/परिशोधक) विस्तीर्ण पसरलेले आहे; कार्यांचा प्रभू होऊन तू सर्व बाजूंनी अस्तित्वाच्या गात्रांना (अवयवांना) वेढतोस. जे अतप्त-तनु (अपरिपक्व, न तापविलेले) आहे ते त्या अवस्थेला पोहोचत नाही; जे शिजविलेले, परिपक्व व सिद्ध केलेले—तेच ते वहाते आणि पूर्णतः प्राप्त करते.
