Sukta 9.79
एवा त इन्दो सुभ्वं सुपेशसं रसं तुञ्जन्ति प्रथमा अभिश्रियः । निदंनिदं पवमान नि तारिष आविस्ते शुष्मो भवतु प्रियो मदः ॥
evā́ ta indo subhvā́ṃ su-péśasaṃ rásaṃ tuñjanti prathamā́ abhi-śríyaḥ | nídaṃ-nidaṃ pavamāna ní tāriṣa āvís te śúṣmo bhavatu priyó mádaḥ ||
असेच, हे इन्दु, प्रथम ‘अभिश्रियः’ (प्रथम तेजस्वी विभूती) तुझा रस पिळून काढतात—शुभ, सुबद्ध, सुंदररूप. हे पवमान, ‘निदंनिदं’ (पायरीपायरीने) आम्हाला पार उतरव; तुझा ‘शुष्म’ (बल) प्रकट होवो, आणि तुझा प्रिय ‘मद’ (आनंद-उन्माद) आमच्यात उपस्थित राहो.
