समनेव वपुष्यतः कृणवन्मानुषा युगा । विदे तदिन्द्रश्चेतनमध श्रुतो भद्रा इन्द्रस्य रातयः ॥

Sanskrit recitationRig Veda 8.62.9

samānēva vapuṣyatáḥ kṛṇávān mā́nuṣā yugā́ | vidé tád índraś cétanam ádha śrutó bhadrā́ índrasya rātáyaḥ ||

रूप घडविणाऱ्यासारखा, त्याने मानुष युगे घडविली. इंद्राची ही चेतना/प्रज्ञा जाणण्याजोगी आहे; मग तो अंतरी श्रुत होतो (ऐकू येतो). इंद्राची दाने कल्याणकारी आहेत.
