Sukta 8.59
निष्षिध्वरीरोषधीराप आस्तामिन्द्रावरुणा महिमानमाशत । या सिस्रतू रजसः पारे अध्वनो ययोः शत्रुर्नकिरादेव ओहते ॥
niṣṣídhvarīr óṣadhīr ā́pa ā́stām índrāvaruṇā mahimā́nām ā́śata | yā́ sisrátū rájasaḥ pāré ádhvano yáyoḥ śátrur nákir ā́devo óhate ||
अडवलेल्या प्रवाहांना मोकळे करणाऱ्या—औषधी आणि आपः (जलतत्त्व)—दृढपणे उभ्या राहिल्या; आणि इंद्र-वरुणांनी आपली महान महिमा प्राप्त केली. ते रजसाच्या पलीकडे, मार्गाच्या परतीरावर गेले; त्यांच्या विरुद्ध कोणताही शत्रू, कोणतीही अदेव शक्ती, प्रबळ ठरू शकत नाही.
