Sukta 8.53
विश्वा द्वेषांसि जहि चाव चा कृधि विश्वे सन्वन्त्वा वसु । शीष्टेषु चित्ते मदिरासो अंशवो यत्रा सोमस्य तृम्पसि ॥
viśvā́ dveṣā́ṃsi jahí cā́va cā́ kṛdhi víśve sanvántvā́ vásu | śī́ṣṭeṣu citté madirā́so aṃśávo yátrā́ sómasya tṛ́mpasi ||
सर्व द्वेषांचा संहार कर; त्यांना खाली पाडून दूर हटव. सर्व वसु (दीप्तिमान संपदा) आमच्याकडे येवोत. आणि शिष्टेषु—उरलेल्या अंशांतही—मदिरास्वरूप अंशवः (किरणधारा) तुझेच असोत, तिथे जिथे तू सोमाचे तृप्तीपर्यंत पान करतोस.
