Sukta 8.20
मर्तश्चिद्वो नृतवो रुक्मवक्षस उप भ्रातृत्वमायति । अधि नो गात मरुतः सदा हि व आपित्वमस्ति निध्रुवि ॥
mártaś cid vo nṛtavo rukmá-vakṣasa úpa bhrātṛtvám ā́yati | adhí no gāta marutaḥ sadā́ hí va ā́pi-tvam ásti ní-dhruvi ||
हे नृतवो, रुक्मवक्षस (सुवर्ण-उर) असणाऱ्यांनो, एक मर्त्यही तुमच्या भ्रातृत्वाजवळ येऊ शकतो. म्हणून, हे मरुतांनो, आमच्यात येऊन अधिष्ठान करा—कारण तुमचे आपित्व (निकट नाते/सगोत्रता) सदैव दृढ, अचल, आणि जागृत होण्यास तत्पर आहे.
