अमूरः कविरदितिर्विवस्वान्त्सुसंसन्मित्रो अतिथिः शिवो नः । चित्रभानुरुषसां भात्यग्रेऽपां गर्भः प्रस्व आ विवेश ॥

Transliteration

amūraḥ kavír áditir vivásvān su-saṃsán mitró átithiḥ śivó naḥ | citrábhānur uṣásām bhāty ágre 'pā́m gárbhaḥ prasvá ā viveśa ||

Translation

तो अमूरः—अविमूढ—कवि; अदिति, सर्वसमावेशक विशालता; विवस्वान्, तेजस्वी; मित्र, ऋत-समन्वयाचा; आमच्या घरचा शिव अतिथी. तो चित्रभानु, उषांच्या अग्रभागी प्रकाशतो; अपां गर्भः—जलांचा गर्भ/शिशु—प्रस्व (अग्र-प्रेरक) होऊन प्रकटतेत प्रवेशला आहे.
