Sukta 7.40
सेदुग्रो अस्तु मरुतः स शुष्मी यं मर्त्यं पृषदश्वा अवाथ । उतेमग्निः सरस्वती जुनन्ति न तस्य रायः पर्येतास्ति ॥
séd ugró astu marutaḥ sá śuṣmī yáṃ martyáṃ pṛṣadaśvā avātha | utém agníḥ sárasvatī junánti ná tásya rāyáḥ paryetā́sti ||
हे मरुतांनो! तो निश्चयच उग्र/प्रचंड होतो, बलवान होतो—ज्या मर्त्याचे तुम्ही, ठिपक्यांच्या रंगाचे अश्व असलेले, रक्षण करता. आणि अग्नी व सरस्वतीही त्याला पुढे प्रेरित करतात; त्याच्या रयी (समृद्धी)ला परिघ घालून मोजता येईल अशी सीमा नाही.
