Sukta 7.33
दण्डा इवेद्गोअजनास आसन्परिच्छिन्ना भरता अर्भकासः । अभवच्च पुरएता वसिष्ठ आदित्तृत्सूनां विशो अप्रथन्त ॥
daṇḍā́ ivéd go-ajanāsa āsan pári-cchinnā bharatā́ arbhakā́saḥ | ábhavac ca pura-etā́ vasiṣṭhá ā́d ít tṛtsūnā́ṁ víśo aprathanta ||
दांड्यांसारखे दृढ, गो-अजन (गौ-जन्य, प्रकाशमय किरणांतून उत्पन्न) भरत—अजून बाल्यसदृश वाढीत—घट्ट, एकमेकांत गुंफलेले उभे होते. वसिष्ठ त्यांचा अग्रणी ‘पुरएता’ झाला; तेव्हा तृत्सूंच्या प्रजा खरोखरच पसरल्या आणि सुव्यवस्थित सामर्थ्यात वाढल्या.
