मा स्रेधत सोमिनो दक्षता महे कृणुध्वं राय आतुजे । तरणिरिज्जयति क्षेति पुष्यति न देवासः कवत्नवे ॥
Transliteration
mā́ srédhata somino dákṣatā mahé kṛṇudhvám rāyá ātúje | taraṇír íj jayati kṣéti púṣyati ná devā́saḥ kavatnávé ||
Translation
हे सोमपिळणाऱ्यांनो, चुकू नका; दक्ष व्हा—महानासाठी कर्म करा, शीघ्र येणाऱ्या रयी-समृद्धीसाठी. ‘तरणि’ ही अतिक्रमणशक्तीच जिंकते, वसते, वाढते; देव कातर-प्रयत्न करणाऱ्यांसाठी नाहीत.
