Sukta 7.22
ये च पूर्व ऋषयो ये च नूत्ना इन्द्र ब्रह्माणि जनयन्त विप्राः । अस्मे ते सन्तु सख्या शिवानि यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
yé ca pū́rva ṛ́ṣayo yé ca nū́tnā índra bráhmāṇi janáyanta víprāḥ | asmḗ te santu sakhyā́ śivā́ni yūyáṃ pāta svastí-bhiḥ sadā́ naḥ ||
हे इंद्रा! जे पूर्वीचे ऋषी आणि जे आजचे नूतन विप्र—मंत्र (ब्रह्माणि) उत्पन्न करणारे—त्यांच्याप्रमाणे तुझी शुभ, कल्याणकारी सख्ये आमच्याशी असोत. आणि तुम्ही (देवशक्ती) स्वस्तींनी—कल्याण-विस्तारांनी—आम्हांला सदैव रक्षावे.
