Sukta 6.72
इन्द्रासोमा युवमङ्ग तरुत्रमपत्यसाचं श्रुत्यं रराथे । युवं शुष्मं नर्यं चर्षणिभ्यः सं विव्यथुः पृतनाषाहमुग्रा ॥
indrā́somā yuvám aṅgá tarútram apatya-sā́caṃ śrútyaṃ rarāthe | yuváṃ śúṣmaṃ náryaṃ carṣaṇí-bhyaḥ sáṃ vivyathuḥ pṛtanā-sā́ham ugrā́ ||
हे इंद्र–सोमा! तुम्ही दोघांनी खरोखरच रक्षण-बल (तरुत्रम्) दिले—भविष्य जिंकणारे, श्रवणीय (श्रुत्य) सहाय्य. तुम्ही जनांसाठी पुरुषार्थी बल (नर्य शुष्म) आणि संग्राम-विजयी पराक्रम एकत्र करून व्यापक केला—हे उग्र, युद्ध-जिंकणारे (पृतनाषाह)!
