Sukta 6.38
दूराच्चिदा वसतो अस्य कर्णा घोषादिन्द्रस्य तन्यति ब्रुवाणः । एयमेनं देवहूतिर्ववृत्यान्मद्र्यगिन्द्रमियमृच्यमाना ॥
dūrā́c cid ā́ vasato asya kárṇā ghoṣā́d índrasya tanyati bruvāṇáḥ | éyam enaṃ deváhūtír vavṛtyān madryàg índram iyám ṛcyámānā ||
दूरूनही, तो जिथे वास करतो तिथे, इन्द्राच्या घोषाने त्याचे कान निनादतात—वाणी बोलत बोलत (त्याला) झंकारते. ही ‘देवहूति’ (देव-आह्वान) त्याला आमच्याकडे वळवो; ही ऋचा, गात असता, इन्द्राला योग्य दिशेने इथे जवळ ओढून आणते.
