Sukta 6.28
न ता अर्वा रेणुककाटो अश्नुते न संस्कृतत्रमुप यन्ति ता अभि । उरुगायमभयं तस्य ता अनु गावो मर्तस्य वि चरन्ति यज्वनः ॥
ná tā́ arvā́ reṇú-kakāṭo aśnute ná saṃskṛtatrám úpa yanti tā́ abhí | uru-gāyám ábhayam tásya tā́ ánu gā́vo mártasya ví caranti yájvanaḥ ||
त्यांच्यापर्यंत न कोणताही वेगवान आक्रमक पोहोचतो, न धूळ उडवीत पाठलाग करणारा; नीट रचलेल्या सापळ्याजवळ ते जात नाहीत. ते उरुगाय—विस्तृत-गामी, निर्भय—त्याचे अनुसरण करतात; त्याच्या संरक्षणाखाली यजमान मर्त्याच्या ठायी गावः (रश्मी) अडथळ्याविना मुक्तपणे विचरतात.
