Sukta 6.17
पप्राथ क्षां महि दंसो व्युर्वीमुप द्यामृष्वो बृहदिन्द्र स्तभायः । अधारयो रोदसी देवपुत्रे प्रत्ने मातरा यह्वी ऋतस्य ॥
paprātha kṣā́m mahí daṃsó ví urvīm úpa dyā́m ṛṣvó bṛhád indra stabhāyaḥ | ádhārayo ródasī deváputre pratné mā́tarā yahvī́ ṛtásya ||
हे महिमावान इंद्रा! तुझ्या महान् पराक्रमाने (दंस) तू पृथ्वीचा विस्तार केला; आणि विशाल द्यौ (आकाश) स्थिरपणे आधारून ठेवला. मग तू रोदसी—दोन्ही लोक—धारण केलेस: देवपुत्री, प्राचीन माता, ज्या ऋत (ṛta) मध्ये याह्वी—विस्ताराने प्रवाही—आहेत.
