त्वामग्ने प्रदिव आहुतं घृतैः सुम्नायवः सुषमिधा समीधिरे । स वावृधान ओषधीभिरुक्षितोऽभि ज्रयांसि पार्थिवा वि तिष्ठसे ॥
tvām agne pra-diva āhutaṁ ghṛtaiḥ sumnā-yavaḥ su-samidhā sam īdhire | sa vavṛdhāna oṣadhībhir ukṣito ’bhi jrayāṁsi pārthivā vi tiṣṭhase ||
हे अग्ने! उच्च दिवातून आवाहिलेला, घृताने अभिषिक्त—सुम्न (अनुग्रह/आनंद) शोधणारे तुला उत्तम समिधांनी प्रज्वलित करतात. तू वाढत जाऊन, ओषधींनी सिंचित होऊन, पार्थिव प्रतिरोध व अडथळ्यांवर उभा राहतोस, त्यांना ओलांडून विस्तारतोस.
