Sukta 5.1
यदीं गणस्य रशनामजीगः शुचिरङ्क्ते शुचिभिर्गोभिरग्निः । आद्दक्षिणा युज्यते वाजयन्त्युत्तानामूर्ध्वो अधयज्जुहूभिः ॥
yád īṃ gaṇásya raśanā́m ájīgar śúcir aṅkte śúcibhir góbhir agníḥ | ā́d dákṣiṇā yujyate vāja-yánty uttānā́m ūrdhvó adhayaj juhū́bhiḥ ||
जेव्हा त्याने गणस्य रशना (बंध/वेष्टन) हलविली, तेव्हा शुचि असा अग्नि शुचि गोभिः (पवित्र किरणांनी) स्वतःला अभ्यंजन करतो. मग दक्षिणा युज्यते—बल-समृद्धी वाढविणारी; तो ऊर्ध्व होऊन, जुहू-करछुलांनी वरच्या दिशेने पसरलेल्या शक्तींचे दोहन करतो।
