Sukta 4.45
उद्वां पृक्षासो मधुमन्त ईरते रथा अश्वास उषसो व्युष्टिषु । अपोर्णुवन्तस्तम आ परीवृतं स्वर्ण शुक्रं तन्वन्त आ रजः ॥
úd vāṁ pṛkṣā́so mádhu-manta īrate ráthā aśvā́sa uṣáso vyùṣṭiṣu | apó-ūrṇuvántas táma ā́ parī́vṛtaṁ svàr na śukráṁ tanvántā ā́ rájaḥ ||
उषेच्या प्रकटण्यात तुमचे मधुमय पृक्षास (अश्व) आणि रथ वरच्या दिशेने धावतात. ते सर्वत्र पसरलेला अंधार उलगडून टाकतात, आणि उज्ज्वल सुवर्णप्रभा रजस् (अंतरिक्ष) भर ताणून पसरवितात.
