इन्द्रा ह रत्नं वरुणा धेष्ठेत्था नृभ्यः शशमानेभ्यस्ता । यदी सखाया सख्याय सोमैः सुतेभिः सुप्रयसा मादयैते ॥

índrā ha rátnaṃ váruṇā dhéṣṭhe ítthā nṛ́-bhyaḥ śaśamānébhyas tā́ | yadī́ sákhāyā sakhyā́ya sómaiḥ sutébhiḥ su-prayásā mā́dayaite ||

इंद्र आणि वरुण खरोखरच अशा रीतीने रत्न (धन-वैभव) परिश्रम करणाऱ्या, प्रयत्नशील नरांसाठी ठेवतात/स्थापित करतात. जेव्हा ते दोघे सखा, सख्याकरिता, सुतेल्या सोमांसह—सु-प्रयस् (सुंदर अर्पण-ऊर्जा) यांनी समृद्ध—आनंदाने मदमत्त होतात.
