Sukta 3.30
उद्वृह रक्षः सहमूलमिन्द्र वृश्चा मध्यं प्रत्यग्रं शृणीहि । आ कीवतः सललूकं चकर्थ ब्रह्मद्विषे तपुषिं हेतिमस्य ॥
úd vṛha rákṣaḥ sahá-mūlam indra vṛścā́ mádhyaṃ práty agraṃ śṛṇīhi | ā́ kī́vataḥ salalū́kaṃ cakartha brahmadvíṣa tápuṣiṃ hetím asyá ||
हे इंद्रा! रक्षसाला मुळासकट उपटून टाक; त्याचा मध्यभाग छेद, त्याचा अग्रभाग तोडून टाक. तू कृपण व कुटिल यांचा अंत केला आहेस; ब्रह्म-द्वेष्ट्याविरुद्ध तू दाहक शस्त्र—तपस्येची धार—त्याच्या विनाशासाठी घडविली आहेस।
