Sukta 2.23
देवाश्चित्ते असुर्य प्रचेतसो बृहस्पते यज्ञियं भागमानशुः । उस्रा इव सूर्यो ज्योतिषा महो विश्वेषामिज्जनिता ब्रह्मणामसि ॥
devā́ś cit te asurya prá-cetaso bṛ́haspate yajñíyaṃ bhāgám ānaśuḥ | usrā́ iva sū́ryo jyótiṣā mahó víśveṣām íj janitā́ bráhmaṇām asi ||
हे असुर्य (तेजस्वी) बृहस्पते! प्रचेतस (दूरदर्शी, प्रबुद्ध) असे देवही तुझ्यामुळेच आपला यज्ञीय भाग प्राप्त करतात. उषा-गायींच्या महान् प्रकाशाने उजळलेल्या सूर्याप्रमाणे, सर्व ब्रह्म/मंत्रांचा जनक तूच आहेस.
