Sukta 2.12
यं क्रन्दसी संयती विह्वयेते परेऽवर उभया अमित्राः । समानं चिद्रथमातस्थिवांसा नाना हवेते स जनास इन्द्रः ॥
yaṃ krandasī saṃyatī vihvayete pare’vare ubhayā amitrāḥ | samānaṃ cid ratham ātasthivāṃsā nānā havete sa janāsa indraḥ ||
ज्याला क्रन्दसी (दोन घुमणाऱ्या/प्रतिध्वनित शक्ती) संघर्षात हाक मारतात—वरच्या व खालच्या, दोन्ही बाजूंचे अमित्र (विरोधक)ही; एकाच रथावर आरूढ असूनही, ते त्याला नाना प्रकारे आवाहन करतात—हे जनांनो, तोच इंद्र आहे।
