Sukta 10.112
यस्य शश्वत्पपिवाँ इन्द्र शत्रूननानुकृत्या रण्या चकर्थ । स ते पुरंधिं तविषीमियर्ति स ते मदाय सुत इन्द्र सोमः ॥
yasya śaśvát papivā́m̐ indra śátrūn anānukṛtyā́ raṇyā́ cakártha | sá te púraṃdhiṃ táviṣīm iyarti sá te mádāya sutá indra sómaḥ ||
हे इंद्रा, ज्याच्या अखंड पानाने (सोमपानाने) तू शत्रूंना पाठलाग करण्यास असमर्थ केलेस; आणि रणात विजयकारी आनंद घडविलास. तोच सुत सोम तुझ्यासाठी पुरंधि—सम्यक् विवेकाची परिपूर्णता—आणि तविषी—तेजस्वी बल—यांना प्रवर्तित करतो; तो तुझ्या मदासाठी (पराक्रम-उन्मादासाठी) आहे, हे इंद्रा.
