Sukta 10.110
प्राचीनं बर्हिः प्रदिशा पृथिव्या वस्तोरस्या वृज्यते अग्रे अह्नाम् । व्यु प्रथते वितरं वरीयो देवेभ्यो अदितये स्योनम् ॥
prācī́naṁ bर्हíḥ pradíśā pṛthivyā́ vástor asyā́ vṛjyate rá agre áhṇām | vy ù prathate vitaráṁ várīyo devébhyo áditaye syónam ||
पृथ्वीच्या दिशेनुसार पूर्वाभिमुख पवित्र बर्हि (यज्ञासन) पसरविले जाते—दिवसांच्या अग्रभागी, उषेच्या मुखाशी. ते विस्तारते, अधिकाधिक विशाल, अधिकाधिक कल्याणकारी—देवांसाठी आणि अदिती (अनंत)साठी, सुखद व शान्तिमय अधिष्ठान बनून.
