Sukta 1.64
चित्रैरञ्जिभिर्वपुषे व्यञ्जते वक्षस्सु रुक्माँ अधि येतिरे शुभे । अंसेष्वेषां नि मिमृक्षुॠष्टयः साकं जज्ञिरे स्वधया दिवो नरः ॥
citrā́ir añjíbhir vápuṣe ví añjate vákṣas-su rukmā́m̐ ádhi yetire śubhé | áṃseṣv eṣāṃ ní mimṛkṣu ṛṣṭáyaḥ sā́kaṃ jajñire svadháyā divó náraḥ ||
ते आपल्या रूपाला चित्रविचित्र अलंकारांनी सजवितात; सौंदर्यासाठी त्यांच्या वक्षस्थळी सुवर्ण-दीप्ती संचारते. त्यांच्या खांद्यांवर भाले दृढपणे रोवलेले आहेत; स्वधया (स्वतःच्या अंतर्बळाने) दिव्य नर—मरुत—एकत्र, एकाच संगतीत जन्म घेतात.
