अदर्शि गातुरुरवे वरीयसी पन्था ऋतस्य समयंस्त रश्मिभिश्चक्षुर्भगस्य रश्मिभिः । द्युक्षं मित्रस्य सादनमर्यम्णो वरुणस्य च । अथा दधाते बृहदुक्थ्यं वय उपस्तुत्यं बृहद्वयः ॥
ádarśi gātúr uravé varī́yasī pánthā ṛtásya sám ayaṃsta raśmíbhis cákṣur bhágasya raśmíbhíḥ | dyukṣáṃ mitrásya sā́danam aryámṇo váruṇasya ca | áthā dadhāte bṛhád ukthyáṃ váya upa-stutyáṃ bṛhád váyaḥ ||
विस्तीर्णासाठी अधिकच विस्तीर्ण असा मार्ग दिसून आला; ऋत (सत्य-नियम) याचा पंथ किरणांनी सम्यक् जुळविला—भगाच्या किरणांनी, जेच दृष्टी आहेत. मित्र, अर्यमन् आणि वरुण यांचे ते तेजस्वी आसन—मग ते उक्थ्य (प्रेरित वाणी) याचे विशाल पंख, स्तुतीयोग्य विशाल पंख, स्थापन करतात.
