तिष्ठेति राजा चुक्रोश याहि याहीति राघवः।सुमन्त्रस्य बभूवात्मा चक्रयोरिव चान्तरा।।।।

राजा “थांबा, थांबा!” असे ओरडला; आणि राघव (राम) “जा, जा!” असे म्हणत होता। तेव्हा सुमंत्राचे मन जणू दोन चाकांच्या मध्ये अडकले।
