शूरो न धत्त आयुधा गभस्त्योः स्वः सिषासन्रथिरो गविष्टिषु । इन्द्रस्य शुष्ममीरयन्नपस्युभिरिन्दुर्हिन्वानो अज्यते मनीषिभिः ॥

Transliteration

śū́ro na dhatte ā́yudhā gabhastyóḥ svàḥ sisāsan rathiró gaviṣṭíṣu | índrasya śúṣmam ī́rayan apasyúbhir índur hinvānáḥ ajyate manīṣíbhiḥ ||

Translation

ಶೂರನಂತೆ ಅವನು ಗಭಸ್ತ್ಯೋಃ (ಹಸ್ತಗ್ರಹಣದಲ್ಲಿ) ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಸ್ವಃ (ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ ಲೋಕ)ವನ್ನು ಬಯಸಿ, ಗವಿಷ್ಟಿ (ಕಿರಣಗಳ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ)ಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಥಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದೃಢನಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅಪಸ್ಯುಭಿಃ (ಇಚ್ಛಾಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಕರ್ಮಗಳಿಂದ) ಇಂದ್ರನ ಶುಷ್ಮ (ಪ್ರಚಂಡ ಬಲ)ವನ್ನು ಉದ್ರೇಕಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಹಿನ್ವಾನ (ಮುಂದೆ ತಳ್ಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ) ಇಂದುವು ಮನುಷೀಭಿಃ (ಋಷಿಚಿಂತನೆ)ಗಳಿಂದ ಅಭಿಷಿಕ್ತನಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
