स पवस्व विचर्षण आ मही रोदसी पृण । उषाः सूर्यो न रश्मिभिः ॥
Transliteration
sá pavasva vi-carṣaṇe ā́ mahī́ rodasī pṛṇa | uṣā́ḥ sū́ryo na raśmíbhíḥ ||
Translation
ಹೇ ಪವಮಾನ ಸೋಮ, ವಿಶ್ವವಿಚಕ್ಷಣ, ನೀನು ಹರಿದು ಬಾ; ಮಹತ್ತಾದ ಎರಡು ಲೋಕಗಳಾದ ದ್ಯಾವಾ–ಪೃಥಿವಿಯನ್ನು ತುಂಬು. ಉಷಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ಸೂರ್ಯನು ತಮ್ಮ ರಶ್ಮಿಗಳಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ತುಂಬುವಂತೆ, ನೀನು ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ ಧಾರೆಗಳಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿ ತುಂಬಿಸು.
