Sukta 9.12

अभि विप्रा अनूषत गावो वत्सं न मातरः । इन्द्रं सोमस्य पीतये ॥

abhí víprā anūṣata gā́vo vatsáṃ ná mā́taraḥ | índraṃ sómasya pītáye ||

ವಿಪ್ರ ಋಷಿಗಳು ಅವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸ್ತುತಿಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಹಸುಗಳು ಕರುವನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತುವರಿಸುವಂತೆ (ಪ್ರಕಾಶದ) ಕಿರಣಗಳು ತಾಯಿಗಳಂತೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತವೆ—ಸೋಮಪಾನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇಂದ್ರನ ಕಡೆಗೆ.
