Sukta 8.53
आ नो विश्वेषां रसं मध्वः सिञ्चन्त्वद्रयः । ये परावति सुन्विरे जनेष्वा ये अर्वावतीन्दवः ॥
ā́ no víśveṣāṃ rásaṃ mádhvaḥ siñcántv ádrayaḥ | yé parāváti sunvíre jáneṣv ā́ yé arvāvatī́ndavaḥ ||
ನಮಗಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಧುರತೆಯ ಸಾರವನ್ನು ಮಧುರಸವಾಗಿ ಅಡ್ರಯಃ—ಸೋಮಪೀಷಣ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳು—ಸಿಂಚಿಸಲಿ. ಯಾವ ಸೋಮಬಿಂದುಗಳು ಪರಾವತ್—ದೂರದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ—ಜನರ ನಡುವೆ ಪೀಷಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತವೋ, ಮತ್ತು ಯಾವವು ಅರ್ವಾವತ್—ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿ—ಪೀಷಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತವೋ, ಅವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಆನಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಕಾಶದ ಒಂದೇ ಧಾರೆಯಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಲಿ.
