दानासः पृथुश्रवसः कानीतस्य सुराधसः । रथं हिरण्ययं ददन्मंहिष्ठः सूरिरभूद्वर्षिष्ठमकृत श्रवः ॥

dā́nāsaḥ pṛthú-śrávasaḥ kānī́tasya su-rā́dhasaḥ | ráthaṃ hiraṇyáyaṃ dádad maṃhíṣṭhaḥ sū́rir abhūd várṣiṣṭham akṛta śrávaḥ ||

ವಿಸ್ತೃತ-ಶ್ರವಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳ ಕಾಣೀತ (ಕಾನೀತ)ನ—ಸುಸಮೃದ್ಧ, ಸುಧಾನವಂತ—ಈ ದಾನಗಳು. ಸುವರ್ಣ ರಥವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಅವನು ಅತಿಮಹಾದಾತಾ ಸೂರಿ ಆಯನು; ಅವನು ಶ್ರವಸ್ (ಯಶಸ್ಸು)ವನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸುರಿಯುವಂತೆ—ಅಕ್ಷಯ ತೇಜೋಮಯ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ—ಮಾಡಿದನು.
