Transliteration
yáyor ádhi prá yajñā́ asū́re sánti sūráyaḥ | tā́ yajñásyādhvarásya prá-cetasā svadhā́bhir yā́ píbataḥ somyáṃ mádhu ||
Translation
ಯಾರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳು ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುತ್ತವೆಯೋ, ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನ ಋಷಿಗಳು ಅಚಲ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿತರಾಗಿರುವರೋ—ಆ ಇಬ್ಬರು, ಯಜ್ಞದಲ್ಲೂ ಅಧ್ವರ (ಅರ್ಪಣಮಾರ್ಗ)ದಲ್ಲೂ ವಿಶಾಲ-ಚೇತನರು; ಸ್ವಧೆಯಿಂದ ಸೋಮದ ಮಧುರ ಮಧುವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವವರು.
