Sukta 7.99
न ते विष्णो जायमानो न जातो देव महिम्नः परमन्तमाप । उदस्तभ्ना नाकमृष्वं बृहन्तं दाधर्थ प्राचीं ककुभं पृथिव्याः ॥
ná te víṣṇo jā́yamāno ná jātó deva mahimnáḥ paramám ántam āpa | úd astabhnāḥ nā́kam ṛṣvám bṛhántam dā́dhartha prācī́ṃ kakúbhaṃ pṛthivyā́ḥ ||
ಹೇ ವಿಷ್ಣೋ ದೇವ, ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿರುವವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನಾಗಿಯೂ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯ ಪರಮ ಅಂತ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಲುಪಿಲ್ಲ. ನೀನು ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಉನ್ನತ, ವಿಶಾಲ ನಾಕ (ಆಕಾಶ)ವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಂಭಿಸಿದಿ; ಮತ್ತು ಪೃಥ್ವಿಯ ಪೂರ್ವದ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಕಕುಭ, ಶಿಖರವನ್ನು ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದಿ.
