Sukta 7.20
यदिन्द्र पूर्वो अपराय शिक्षन्नयज्ज्यायान्कनीयसो देष्णम् । अमृत इत्पर्यासीत दूरमा चित्र चित्र्यं भरा रयिं नः ॥
yádindra pū́rvo áparāya śíkṣann áyaj jyā́yān kanī́yaso déṣṇam | amṛ́ta ít paryā́sīt dū́ram ā́ citra citryáṃ bharā rayíṃ naḥ ||
ಯದಿ, ಹೇ ಇಂದ್ರ, ಹಿಂದೆ ಹಿರಿಯನು ಕಿರಿಯನಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದನು, ಮತ್ತು ಶಕ್ತಿಶಾಲಿಯು ದುರ್ಬಲನಿಗೆ ದಾನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದನು—ಅಮೃತನು (ಅಮರನು) ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಮೀರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸುತ್ತುವರಿದು ನಿಂತನು. ಹೇ ಚಿತ್ರಕರ್ಮಾ, ನಮಗೆ ಚಿತ್ರ್ಯ—ಬಹುಮುಖ, ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ—ರಯಿ, ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದುಕೊಡು.
