Sukta 7.1
आ यस्ते अग्न इधते अनीकं वसिष्ठ शुक्र दीदिवः पावक । उतो न एभिः स्तवथैरिह स्याः ॥
ā yás té agne idháte anī́kaṃ vásiṣṭha śúkra dī́di-vaḥ pā́vaka | utó na ebhíḥ staváthair ihá syāḥ ||
ಓ ಅಗ್ನೇ, ಯಾರಾದರೂ ನಿನ್ನಿಗಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಅಣೀಕ (ಮುಂಭಾಗ/ಮುಖ)ವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ—ಓ ವಸಿಷ್ಠ, ಓ ಶುಕ್ರ, ಓ ದಿದಿವಃ ಪಾವಕ—ಆಗ ಈ ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ತವಥ (ಸ್ತುತಿ-ವಚನ)ಗಳಿಂದ ನೀನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮೊಡನೆ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತನಾಗು; ನಮ್ಮ ಭವಿತವ್ಯ-ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಮಾಡು.
