Sukta 7.1
मा नो अग्ने दुर्भृतये सचैषु देवेद्धेष्वग्निषु प्र वोचः । मा ते अस्मान्दुर्मतयो भृमाच्चिद्देवस्य सूनो सहसो नशन्त ॥
mā no agne durbhṛtáye sácaiṣú devéddheṣv agníṣu prá vocaḥ | mā te asmā́n durmátayo bhṛmā́c cid devásya sūno sahaso náśanta ||
ಹೇ ಅಗ್ನೇ, ಯಜ್ಞಕರ್ಮದ ದುರ್ಭರಣ—ಅಯೋಗ್ಯ ವಹನಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಬೇಡ; ದೇವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿತವಾದ ಈ ಅಗ್ನಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದೋಷಿಗಳೆಂದು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಬೇಡ. ದುರ್ಮತಿಗಳು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡದಿರಲಿ—ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ತಪ್ಪಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಅಲ್ಲ; ಹೇ ದೇವಪುತ್ರ, ಹೇ ಸಹಸದ ಪುತ್ರ, ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡು.
