Sukta 6.40
इन्द्र पिब तुभ्यं सुतो मदायाव स्य हरी वि मुचा सखाया । उत प्र गाय गण आ निषद्याथा यज्ञाय गृणते वयो धाः ॥
índra píba túbhyaṃ sutó madā́yā́va sya hárī ví mucā sákhāyā | utá prá gāya gaṇá ā́ ni-sádyā́thā yajñā́ya gṛṇaté váyo dhāḥ ||
ಹೇ ಇಂದ್ರ, ಕುಡಿ; ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ಸೋಮವು ಮದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪೀಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಹೇ ಸಖಾ, ನಿನ್ನ ಎರಡು ಹರಿ (ಬಯ ಅಶ್ವಗಳು)ಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಮುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸು. ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಗಾನ ಮಾಡು; ಗಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಕುಳಿತುಕೋ—ನಂತರ ಯಜ್ಞಕ್ಕೆ, ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ, ದೇಹಧಾರಿತ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಲದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡು.
