Sukta 5.87
स चक्रमे महतो निरुरुक्रमः समानस्मात्सदस एवयामरुत् । यदायुक्त त्मना स्वादधि ष्णुभिर्विष्पर्धसो विमहसो जिगाति शेवृधो नृभिः ॥
sá cakrame maható nír uru-krámaḥ samānásmā́t sádasa evayā́marut | yad ā́yukta tmanā́ svā́d ádhi ṣṇúbhir ví-spardhaso ví-mahaso jigā́ti śe-vṛ́dho nṛ́bhiḥ ||
ಅವನು ಮಹತ್ತಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಡುತ್ತಾನೆ—ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾದ ಗತಿಯನ್ನುಳ್ಳವನು—ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಸದುಸಿನಿಂದ (ಸಭಾ-ಆಸನದಿಂದ), ಓ ಮರುತರೆ. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಭಾವಬಲಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನದೇ ತ್ಮನಾ (ಆತ್ಮಶಕ್ತಿ)ಯಿಂದ ಯುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಉಕ್ಕುವ ಪ್ರವಾಹಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರತಿಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿ ಪಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಮಹಾ ಪ್ರತಿರೋಧಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಟಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ—ಮಾನವರಿಗೆ ಶುಭವನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಸುವವನು.
