प्र सद्यो अग्ने अत्येष्यन्यानाविर्यस्मै चारुतमो बभूथ । ईळेन्यो वपुष्यो विभावा प्रियो विशामतिथिर्मानुषीणाम् ॥
prá sadyo agne átyeṣy anyā́n āvír yásmai cā́ru-tamo babhū́tha | īḷényo vapuṣyò vibhā́vā priyó viśā́m átithir mā́nuṣīṇām ||
ಓ ಅಗ್ನೇ, ನೀನು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಗುತ್ತೀ, ಇತರ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀರಿಸಿ; ನೀನು ಯಾರಿಗಾಗಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮನೋಹರನೂ ಕೃಪಾಮಯನೂ ಆಗಿರುವೆಯೋ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಪ್ರಕಟನಾಗುತ್ತೀ. ಸ್ತುತ್ಯ, ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ, ವ್ಯಾಪಕವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುವವನೇ—ನೀನು ಮಾನವ ಕುಲಗಳ ಪ್ರಿಯ ಅತಿಥಿ; ಅಂತರ್ಗೃಹಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಆತ್ಮಾರ್ಪಣದ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ಜಾಗೃತಗೊಳಿಸು.
