वेषि ह्यध्वरीयतामुपवक्ता जनानाम् । हव्या च मानुषाणाम् ॥
Transliteration
véṣi hí adhvarīyatā́m upa-vaktā́ jánānām | havyā́ ca mā́nuṣāṇām ||
Translation
ಹೇ ಅಧ್ವರೀಯ, ನೀನು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧ್ವರೀಯತಾಮ್ (ಯಜ್ಞಕರ್ಮ ಮಾಡುವವರಲ್ಲಿ) ಉಪವಕ್ತೃನಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತೀ; ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವರಿಗೂ ಹವ್ಯಗಳ ವಕ್ತೃನಾಗುತ್ತೀ—ವಾಣಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಅರ್ಪಣವಾಗಿಸಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತೀ.
