Sukta 4.23
ऋतं येमान ऋतमिद्वनोत्यृतस्य शुष्मस्तुरया उ गव्युः । ऋताय पृथ्वी बहुले गभीरे ऋताय धेनू परमे दुहाते ॥
ṛtáṃ yemānā́ ṛtám íd vanoty ṛtásya śúṣmas turáyā u gavyúḥ | ṛtā́ya pṛthvī́ bahulé gabhīré ṛtā́ya dhenū́ paramé duhāte ||
ಋತವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸುವವನು ಋತವನ್ನೇ ಜಯಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಋತದ ಶೌರ್ಯವು ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾ, ಗವ್ಯು—ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ ಗೋವುಗಳು/ಕಿರಣಗಳ ಧನವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತದೆ. ಋತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ವಿಶಾಲ ಭೂಮಿ ಬಹುಳವಾಗಿ, ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಋತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪರಮ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಧೇನುಗಳು ಹಾಲು ದೋಹುತ್ತವೆ—ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಧಾರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ.
