शृङ्गाणीवेच्छृङ्गिणां सं ददृश्रे चषालवन्तः स्वरवः पृथिव्याम् । वाघद्भिर्वा विहवे श्रोषमाणा अस्माँ अवन्तु पृतनाज्येषु ॥
śṛṅgā́ṇīvecchṛṅgíṇāṃ sáṃ dadṛśre caṣā́lavantaḥ sváravaḥ pṛthivyā́m | vāghádbhir vā viháve śróṣamāṇā asmā́m avantu pṛtanā́jyeṣu ||
ಕೊಂಬುಳ್ಳವರ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳಂತೆ ಅವರು ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ—ಚಷಾಲವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದವರು, ಪೃಥಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಸ್ವರ’ನಾದಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳು. ಗಾಯಕರೊಂದಿಗಾಗಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ವಿಹವ (ಆಹ್ವಾನ)ದ ಕೂಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಲಿ—ಕೇಳುತ್ತ—ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಯುದ್ಧಗಳಲ್ಲಿ (ಪೃತನಾಜ್ಯೇಷು) ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಲಿ.
